These are well constructed and can also be used individually by tapping with a stick. I imagine care just be taken with toddlers if the handle screws come loose. But they are usually the kids favorites because they make a BIG noise ;) #sweepstakes

Normally purchase our musical instruments as a large set, but it was out of stock and we needed a set quickly, so each item was purchased separately. We use the instruments in our preschool classrooms on Sunday, at Parents Day Out, and in our choir time. Instruments are of a high quality and withstand lots of use. Our original set was purchased several years ago and is still very usable. Just needed another one due to our growth.
My two year old grandson ...
My two year old grandson enjoys the marching band. He especially likes the drums and cymbals. He already has two drums and I was delighted to find these cymbals. They are just his size and he is getting lots of enjoyment from them.

Great cymbals for the price
I bought these as a gift for my niece's 8th birthday, but it turned out that her 3 year old sister was more interested in them and couldn't put them down. Made of brass, they won't ever corrode. The only negative is that the handles came loose, which was quickly fixed with a phillips screwdriver.
