Wonderful
This product is really worth the money. I was initially hesitant to pay that much for a mail center but, it is totally worth it. It comes unassembled but the directions are straight forward and easy to follow. Once it's put together it is a solid piece of furniture. The shelves are secured in place ...and won't slip out, the back is secured with screws instead of those flimsy nails we're used to when you assemble furniture. The paper racks on the side were easy to attach and are great for holding work that needs to be passed out. My only complaint would be that the labels are likely to rip easily as they hang over the edge of the shelf but, this is a small thing I can live with.

Durable but not worth money
I have to first say I order from RGS all the time - I ordered two of these for my classroom and they are definitely durable. However, both of my packages came with several laminate chips and pieces of the wood chipped. Packing could have been much better. Due to the laminate chips it was difficult t...o slide the pieces into the slots. It caused a lot of bending and issues because it was so chipped. It works, it's sturdy, but not really what I hoped for after paying so much.

Great student mailboxes except......
These student mailboxes are sturdy and easy to assemble. They look great too! My only exception is that the individual mailboxes are too narrow to put a name label on the front. Once papers are placed inside you cannot see the name label inside.
Love this mail center - now that it's finally assembled
This looks great in my classroom and is a solid piece of furniture. I love the side holders too. I did not love putting this together, though. I didn't feel the instructions were clear enough. I had to redo portions because of the vague language. There were some pictures but not enough at each step. Also, the tool that is provided is quite sharp on one end and kept rubbing on my fingers, making them really sore by the time I was finished. At first I thought the side holders were forgotten, but I did get them in a separate package. I wish the description had said that so I didn't waste time stressing about it. Also, it would be great if they included another set of the self-adhesive labels for next year's class. Or at least have them available to order.
Love it!

I needed a good, sturdy computer docking station. I had tried several other things that just didn't hold up or weren't conducive to what I needed. This mail center works PERFECTLY and even has room to spare.

Not enough space for all my students! :-/
I would have purchased this product in a heartbeat - a sturdy mail center is a necessary part of a well-functioning classroom. However with just 27 slots, there is no way this would ever work for me because I have an average of 34 students each year, with a high of 37, and a low of 29 (once in the last 20 years!). If this were designed as 9x4 instead of 9x3, it would be fantastic.

Pleased!
When I first opened the box, I panicked at all the pieces to assemble. However, the instructions were very simple and straight-forward. Once assembled, it is very study and I think it will simply my homework & agenda collection. I can pass out notes and other items without ever walking around the room. They just collect their items when I dismiss them. I would have given it a perfect rating except for the rubber "feet". They weren't sticky enough and when I slid the mailbox into place, it scratched my bookcase.
