Fun for the students
These tools were great to add texture to projects. The red tool (that looked like a rose) makes cool fish scales. The only con--it was quite messy if the students wanted to change colors. They had to be rinsed in the sink. I trimmed the "long bristle tool" so it wouldn't hold so much paint.

My 3 year old just wanted to paint as usual so she was perplexed when the brushes didn't "work right." She quickly gave up & went back to regular brushes. These may be more appropriate for older kids. I personally had fun using them myself! The annoyance came when it was time to clean the brushes. ...
