These are just outstanding! One of them, lid on, jumped out of the three-year-old's hand the other day and skittered across the floor, with no spillage whatsoever. When I gingerly lifted the lid, I found no paint had escaped the inner shield, despite all the tumbling the cup had just done. As long as the inner shield is firmly twisted into place, these cups are foolproof. And the matching brushes make color identification easy for the kiddos.
