Great assortment of colors! Compared with other brands my art students have used, these seem to have a bit of an excess of oil. The pigment, on the other hand, could be stronger.

Even though the price of these oil pastels are reasonable, they have the same quality of a lot of expensive ones. The colors are bright and go on smooth. My 4th graders were able to do an impressive Kandinsky project with them. Had no complaints from them :)

This is a gift for my grand-daughter, age 5, for this Christmas., So they haven't been used yet. I was a little disappointed in the way everything I ordered was packaged. I ordered 2 small items (including the above) and they were sent in a much too large box packed very lossely with bubble wrap. As a result the oil pastel box came undone & the some of the pastels were out of the box. Nothing was broken but the box got squished & looks a bit messy for a Christmas present.Better care needs to taken with shipping.
