These pencils are great for a restrictive teaching setting because they don't have erasers i.e the metal that holds the erasers on and they are easy to see/find. They are not always easy to sharpen as they tend to break when they are being sharpened, but overall they last and are a great deal to buy in the bundle.

These pencils are by far the best I have ever used for my first grade class and you can't beat the price (I researched and these are the best deal!!) Regular size pencils, even the expensive ones, constanly break with first grade use. We were wasting precious learning time (and teacher prep time!) with constant sharpening. This also solves the problem of those students who enjoy purposely breaking pencils because they don't break!! They also won't break in the pencil sharpener!! I chose no erasers because some of my students like to chew on the ends and often waste time erasing. As a result, the children are now producing better quality work due to these pencils!! I am surprised that these pencils are so hard to find-- Well, I found them here and I will keep buying them!! Service was fast as well!! Thank you so much for these incredible pencils!!

Pencils without erasers can't be found in stores where I live. I bought these as a kindergarten teacher and now for my own children. They're good quality pencils.
