Exciting sparkler for a boy who loves space stories.
I bought this Energy Stick to stimulate my almost 4 yr old grandson to be curious about science. He loved it for one nigh. We spent about 1 hour touching it and hearing the sound it made. He proudly showed it to mommy, and was excited about this light.

Fun toy
The lights quit working after using a couple times. Still works with the noise just not the lights.

This is cool to show a complete circuit and is fun to find other ways to complete it other than just hands on each end. The noise, however, is very annoying.
Super science

Bundles that Include this item

- Recipient of a new Guinness World Record and Best Toy at the New York Toy Fair 2015
- Use the Energy Stick to turn your body into a human conductor of electricity
- Explore the science of electricity and circuits
- It’s completely safe, and it’s a totally cool way to learn about conductors of electricity
Turn your body into a human conductor of electricity!
A hands-on approach to safely explore the science of electricity!
In most developed countries, electricity is found everywhere. With how significant and vital electricity is to our everyday, it’s essential for kids to not overlook its importance and garner knowledge of this energy and how to use it safely. With the Steve Spangler Science Energy Stick, they learn about electricity science as it comes to life in the palm of their hands. As a highly popular STEM circuit kit that comes complete with an activity guide –teaching young scientists about open and closed circuits, conductors and insulators –children begin to learn how electrodes work. With electrodes on each end of this 7.5” conductor stick, children simply place one hand on each end to complete the circuit, sparking the emittance of sound and fun flashing lights.
You can do the same thing with a large group!
Gather up an entire class, youth group, or party to hold hands in a circle. Have one participant hold one electrode and the person next to him or her hold the other electrode. If everyone in the circle is holding hands, the Energy Stick will do its magic. But as soon as someone breaks the circle, it will stop.
What does it teach?
The Energy Stick is a great toy to explore the science of electricity and circuits. The Energy Stick’s sensing circuit is so sensitive that it can detect even a very small amount of electricity that travels across your skin! It’s completely safe, and it’s a totally cool way to learn about conductors of electricity.
Try It With Friends!
Invite everyone to join in the fun by holding hands and forming a large circle to test their conductivity.
Comes With an Activity Guide!
Teaches young scientists about open and closed circuits as well as conductors and insulators.
Explore Different Conductors of Electricity!
Grab a partner and test different materials to see what conducts electricity. Try a spoon, a bowl of water, or even a slice of pizza. The sensing circuit is so sensitive that it can detect even a very small amount of electricity that travels across their skin.
