Over all quality and durability is good. The paper cover on the business end of the stethoscope was the first to fall off. She loves playing doctor with it on her stuffed animals and listens to her heartbeat too!

I'm not sure what I expected, but I guess I thought it would work better than the fisher price dr set stethoscope. I was wrong. I give it 3 stars for the fact that it looks like a real dr one (not just a cutesy toy) and if you have super amazing hearing, you might hear something... but for my son and I, we question if we even have heartbeats anymore, as we hear nothing at all no matter where we put it. My daughter enjoys listening to her growling stomach with it, but we could hear that without the stethoscope, lol.
