These are very good for elementary through high school education purposes. I am a veterinarian and do a lot of school presentations and clinic tours. I will use these to compliment our stash of animal x-rays (radiographs) to illustrate comparative anatomy of animals and humans.

This product would be perfect if it included a hole or two at the top of each x-ray so that they could be hung on a sanction cup in a window.

Be prepared to carefully snip apart the little attachment points when you get this. We are doing a My Body unit with our infants-toddlers-twos. We incorporate the songs, finger plays, actions songs and poems, you would expect. But we go further and include infant-toddler-two's level books AND older level books about bones in particular and all of the kids just eat them up. When we put the hand, foot, ribs, and skull up on our low windows, the kids immediately interacted with them, matching their bodies to those parts. We're on a roll with these, but we have to carefully wipe them clean and dry, as our little ones are so "juicy," so we'll see how well this fine resource holds up to the challenge of such young users. There are good suggestions for possible uses included in the package. Uses are only limited by your imagination. Very good product.

Human X-Rays - Set of 18

- WHAT'S INCLUDED: 18 X-rays, ranging in size from approx. 5"W x 3"H to the chest x-ray which measures 11"W x 13 3/4"H and activity guide.
- FULL BODY: Individual x-rays can be assembled to create a full human body measuring over 5'L. It gives children a full view of the bones in their bodies. Try placing it on a light table or panel to watch them glow!
- VISUAL LEARNING: Viewing X-ray images can help explain medical conditions in a visual way, fostering a greater awareness of their own health. or children, this can be particularly educational as they can gain a better understanding of their own anatomy and how the skeletal system functions.
- INTEREST IN SCIENCE: Learning about X-rays and their applications introduces children to basic principles of physics and biology. Explaining how X-rays work, why they can penetrate certain materials, and how they interact with the human body can spark an early interest in science.
