good value
This is great for teaching spatial dexterity because the geometric shaped pieces have to be placed on top of a pattern printed on the board instead on inside the board like a puzzle. It would be nice if there were additional boards that could be purchased for additonal variety--as 8 patterns are fai...rly easy to learn. The case that they come in is very sturdy and great for storage.

Good
Good product. However, not many shapes are available for this price. If we buy pattern blocks + picture cards separately that is good. However, that would be $30+. For this price, I think the product is fine.Good ONLY between 2 and 3 or max upto 3 and a half years.

Of course, the granddaughter has not received this or opened it but as she is already talking about some rather obscure shapes, I know she will love this. Educationally this is an excellent pre puzzle piece as well and helps students practice their puzzle turns, flips, and slides. Seem to be of high quality
I would buy again

I have used Geo shapes for years in my childcare. This set is geared toward younger children. There are less pieces which reduces frustration and allows them to succeed. They stack up nicely into a wooden box which makes clean up easy and independent for the children.

My 4 yr old loves this set. It comes in a nice case for easy cleanup. I think it is a little easy, since the first time my son zipped right through the cards, but he doesn't mind doing them again and again. It would be good for 2-3 yr olds. Luckily, you can use the tanagrams for numerous other activities. Overall, a great multi-functional set.
