I bought these to use with pattern block cards that were sold separately for take-home academic bags for my class. I broke up the cards and pieces into separate bags. Unfortunately, there weren't enough pieces in the bag to do all the designs on the cards. I had to buy several more bags of blocks to be able to send enough blocks home in each bag. However, the blocks are of good quality and my class enjoys using them. I would buy them again.

Pattern blocks provide hours of skill development and fun in a classroom or home. I have them at both places and they are always a favorite choice for children that encourages creativity as well as early skill development. I ordered three sets of these (750) for a gift in a home with several children and ordered plastic instead of wood becasue they are easy to clean. These were not as heavy as others I have ordered in the past. They make great patterns, but the lightweight quality will make pattern building better on a flat surface or a tight woven rug, rather than one with pile.
