Unifix cubes are a wonderful way to model addition, subtraction, multiplication and division story problems. They are also wonderful when playing Division Bump, Bingo or exploring making numbers on the large 100's Chart.

If math teachers were only allowed to purchase one manipulative product for use with elementary children, Unifix cubes should be it. They are easy to store, last forever, can be applied to nearly every concept taught in lower elementary math curriculums and kids love them. If there is a way to use them for geometry, money, and clocks, I'll find it. Number sense, graphing, patterns, finger puppets, add, subtract, 1 to 1, cardinal, ordinal, matching sets to numerals, fractions. I could go on..........

- Ease of Use
