These are great building blocks for all ages! I remember them from when I was a kid and am so happy to purchase them here to pass them along to my sons. My son first received thistle blocks as a gift from his grandmother as she recalled them from her days, and they were a hit. These keep my son occupied for a long time. Two years later, my 5 y old is making more complicated structures and I wanted to get him more pieces. This set was perfect. They even had axles and wheels that he didn't have before. Very constructive and imaginative play time.
