Grandson loves the Thistle blocks
My Grandson loves these blocks. Plays with them for hours. I likes to build airplanes and cars and is a little frustrated with the wheels not staying on the axles, but other than that there isn't any problems with the blocks. They entertain him for hours (he is 3). I will purchase more of the...se blocks for him, as he loves to build tall buildings, tunnels etc.

thistles don't stick
The first thing we noticed is these thistle blocks are not "standard size" so don't fit with our existing set that we wanted to enlarge. (different size, don't interlock) We separated the two sets we had combined and thought they'd have to be used separately only to discover that the new thistle bl...ocks do not stick together well. When you can get them together, they slowly push each other apart. Planning to return this item for a refund.

I wrote to you to explain that the first time I used it with my class the piece that fits into the wheel broke off leaving the wheel useless. Since the set only comes with two sets of wheels, it was more than a little disappointing.

My daughter played with these for quite some time. The bristles tend to break off though and the wheels don't stick too well, so I am not sure of their longevity. But, she had a great time playing with them and said she wanted more.

I bought a small set of these a department store and my children really enjoyed them so I went looking for a larger set. This set has a lot more pieces but the pieces are smaller than i had expected. They are fine for my 4 and 8 year old children but I would be careful if your children like to put toys in their mouths.
