The opening to put the pictures in is at the top of the picture so children can remove the pictures easily. I was hoping the opening would be towards the bind part of the book so the children wouldn't be able to easily remove it.

This is a wonderful first photo album for baby, to encourage name recognition and support language development. The pages are so soft ... such a nice sensory component as the child manipulates the pages. I only wish that the manufacturer would include a little Velcro tab at the top of each photo holder, so that the photos could more easily stay in place.

My granddaughter Lindsey, has a baby girl that will be18 months old in January, and Lindsey wanted to give her a photo book with pictures of family members in it so Juniper can learn whio is in her family. They live about 70 miles from everyone, but we do get to see each other a couple of times a month. The baby is a pure delight and very smart. I told my granddaughter that would be my gift to Juniper for Christmas. I am going to pick up the pictures today and load them in the book. I will have 14 family members here at my home for Christmas dinner, in Centennial Colorado. Juniper will get her small child cloth photo book from her great grandmother.
