Wish it were different
The opening to put the pictures in is at the top of the picture so children can remove the pictures easily. I was hoping the opening would be towards the bind part of the book so the children wouldn't be able to easily remove it.

We can't visit our granddaughters in California. One is 4 years old and the other one is 14 months. I wanted this so they could put in photos of us and our house so they won't forget us. I sent this to my grandchild who lives on the other side of the country. Since her parent's don't like her looking at their phone, I added pictures of us and pictures of when she visited. Her parents say she looks at it all the time and is starting to say "Grandma" and "Grandpa" when she sees our pictures. As she grows, we can easily update the pictures.

I gave this as a Christmas gift to my one year old grandson. His parents read to him often and he already loves books. I placed pictures of excursions that they have taken so that they can "read" the book and talk about the things they have done. The material is nice and the book is sturdy. The only problem with the book is that the picture holders are only for landscape oriented photographs. Many of the pictures I had were portrait oriented. I did some cropping to make them work and am making a point to take more landscape oriented pictures.
