In the past I used charts that focused more on the negative than the positive. I have found that children respond more to the positive and it catches on quickly with the other students. The jar is great and instead of the teacher putting the magnet in the jar, the students get to. The positive recognition from both teacher and classmates is a great reinforcement tool.
