Bigger than they look!
I absolutely love these blocks! I was pleasantly surprised when i received them, as they are much bigger than they appear on the website. I had so much fun deciding what to fill them with. I used marbles, silver bells, acorns and leaves, feathers, pom poms, beans, pipe cleaners...etc. ** Although th...e marbles were beautiful, unless packed tightly, they will crack the plexi-glass when kids shake them! The edges are perfectly rounded, safe for toddlers. These blocks are also nicely finished. I would definitely recommend these blocks to anyone that works with children. They are very versatile and add interest to any traditional block set.

Good but has problems.
It is a really neat idea but we have not had these very long and the plexiglass is cracking.

I put these blocks in a classroom, and within 24 hours, several of the blocks were cracked and/or broken. I was so disappointed because I thought they were so neat. We filled them with leaves, rice, bird seed, rice, etc. But they were not worth the money...not very durable.

I love these!! They are just what I've been looking for! At first I thought they were a bit pricey, but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the construction and pleased with how many come in the set. I feel I got a great deal and the children love to see what surprises I'll put in them. I work with young and older children so it's nice to know none of them can open these and get to what's inside.

I have these blocks and I love them. They come in different shapes & sizes, and I use them for breakable items that are to go in the science center. The blocks can be used to store & protect ithings while students can observe the objects, such as bird's nests, wasp's nests, locust shells, dead insects, etc. Normally, these items would crumble quickly, or they'd be stored in tupperware bowls where students can't see the items well. A couple of things to keep in mind: your items cannot be very thick or deep because the blocks only allow a little over an inch of space between the front & back windows. Also, the plexiglass is rather thin. I've used these blocks for several months & none have broken, but the blocks can't store anything heavy like stones. All in all, this is a great product and solved the problem of students destroying natural objects.

These are a great add on for any large unit block set. The ends of the blocks are secured with screws, so they can't be pulled apart after they are filled. We haven't put them through any rigorous preschool workouts yet, but they seem to be a good quality and had quite a few blocks in the set.
