Wonderful for classrooms
These puppets are a wonderful multi-cultural addition to my classroom. I have purchased similar multi-cultural puppets from other retailers/manufacturers, but I have never seen any that come with an Inuit puppet or puppets from India and the Netherlands like this set does. My students love them!

These are cheap and I'm not sure how effective they would be at promoting multiculturalism. The puppets are a little too stereotypical and I think they might indicate to children that all people from a designated nation dress/look a certain way. I guess I should have realized this before I ordered t...hem, but when you see the puppets in person it really becomes apparent that these puppets are not appropriate.

We use these puppets along with the puppet theater during our "missions" station at this year's VBS. It kept the youngest, three and four, year old's entertained.
