I USE THESE TO HELP TEACH MY HEARD TO REACH KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS. IT GETS THEM UP AND MOVING. I PLACE THEM IN A CIRCLE AND THEY MARCH AROUND UNTIL i SAY STOP. THEY MUST READ THE WORD THEY STOP ON. IF THEY GET IT CORRECT THEN THEY GET TO PICK IT UP. THEY WANT TO PICK THEM UP, SO THEY TRY HARD TO REMEMBER THEM. THEY ARE NOW UP TO 20 SOMETHING WORDS ALL BECAUSE OF THESE SPOTS. THEY KNEW TWO WORDS WHEN THEY STARTED. I ALSO BOUGHT THE BLANK SPOTS TO ADD EVEN MORE WORDS THAT ARE ON OUR SIGHT WORD LIST. tHEY HAVE LEARNED THESE WORDS VERY QUICKLY. wE DO THIS FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES DAILY.

The dots are small, but stick well on carpet and feet for sitting on and stepping on. We play lots of games with them to get students to practice words in a fun way:-)
