This is the perfect size for our desks! I laminated mine so I cn wipe of and reuse next year - they are more than twice the price of other name cards, bummer.

I've purchased these name plates for multiple years. I always write their name in cursive on the side with the cursive alphabet and in print on the printed alphabet side. My students use them on a regular basis, especially the math resources and the map. If you're wondering how to deal with them being double sided, I have a class set of name plate holders that I velcro dot to their desks. These allow the name plates to stand upright. Students then decide which side they want facing them. Holders also mean very little desk scrubbing at the end of the year. My only wish is that I could order the name plates without the test covers. I still have the covers from my first set since I laminated them. Since I don't use them, covers just seem like a waste… especially after seeing how much they cost independently. I just collect my class' name plates before testing and return them afterward.

These desk name plates are awesome! They are double sided, which is great because my students switch classes. I also bought the sleeves to slide the name tags into. Really Good Stuff offers sweepstakes so shop and perhaps you will be a lucky winner as well.

Can't live without this one!
Student nameplates for Upper Elementary. This is an annual standard. I'm hoping RGS never discontinues this one or changes it as they have with some products.
Information at Your Students' Fingertips
I use this product on all of my students' desks. I use it with the prop and park so that both sides are visible. This way when the children are in groups, all the information is visible to every child. They can see the front of their own and the back of the card across from them. This is an excellent reference tool for students. I particularly like the editing marks and math references..Names on both sides are really great when there are visitors moving about the room. The only drawback I see is that the name space is a bit short to accommodate a long name without writing it really small.
- Pros
- ELA and Math together
- Name on both sides
- Best for
- Every Day Use
