Use it in my high school classes so they don't interrupt me about time when asking me to go to the bathroom. Wish the buttons were a little bit more out of the way

I was very excited when I purchased this product because I was looking for a good way for students to track how long there were in the bathroom. However, the claim ck on this clipboard does not keep the correct time. I have reset it several times but it keeps moving forward about two hours every day so I have gone back to a regular clipboard. So disappointed!

The included sheet is helpful - the kids will fill out when they leave. I did not receive instructions on how to set the date and time, but I was able to figure it out after a while.

I've used this product for a few years and I really like it. The kids show responsibility by filling out the form and I can keep track of trips out of the room. I have created a "code" that I tape at the top for student reference so that I can see who is at the library (L), bathroom (B), nurse (N) and so on. It also is helping the kiddos with time telling. The battery finally quit this year and that forced my second graders to look at the wall clock, not digital, and practice time telling. They were getting pretty good at it too. I gave it four stars because the buttons on the timer are too enticing for the kiddos. I have them pushing them and changing the time. Resetting it is a pain. I did tape paper over the buttons with the words "don't touch" finally and that helped tremendously. In order to know where the directions to set the timer is at all times, I taped it to the back of the clipboard.

I use this when I am doing cooking labs to keep track of time. I also use it to hold the assessment papers for each group. Makes things easier and at my disposal.

I use this for bathroom check out in a 3rd grade classroom. It helps the students with recognizing how long they are gone and it allows me to see how often and when they use the restroom. It helped me see quickly that one of my students goes to the restroom three times during math but not at all the rest of the day. Nice to see the pattern to have a conversation about missing class time. Kids like it because I don't need them to ask me for permission all day long. They can quickly see if there is someone signed out already and know they have to wait their turn. My one complaint is that the buttons on the clock are so easy to push that sometimes the buttons are pushed when kids are picking up the board to sign in/out. Strong construction, bright color, and easy to read clock. I would buy this again!

The timer did not display the numbers completely. This was a huge disappointment! I am too busy with the start of school right now, so it will go in a drawer.
