I put these on the bottoms of the chair and desk legs. They cut down on noise and help the chairs slide easily even when it's humid outside. My first set lasted four years!

I was getting very tired of all the noise made when students stood up for lunch, bathroom break, etc. when they would push in/pull out their chairs. I had wanted to purchase these for a while and finally did this year. While they were somewhat difficult to put on the chairs, once we figured it out, they went on easily. What a difference in the noise level! It is so quiet when we get ready to line up, come to carpet, etc. Love them! Wish I could have purchased them sooner.
