I work in an open classroom setting, so there's a lot of noise to compete with at times. These may do the job for someone in a quieter setting, but for my kiddos, it was really hard to hear anything, even when the listening station was turned up to the highest volume setting. On a side note, for children with sensory input issues, these may be preferable to more heavy duty headphones simply because they don't compress the head. Just a thought :)
