Non Functional... just a toy.
This product does not work and is very disappointing. It is simply a toy. Extremely Disappointing... Do not buy.

Scale is Missing Parts--Beware Before Buying
We ordered this for our outdoor education program at our school. The scale was missing the balance weight as is pictured online and in the description. Customer service was prompt in sending us a free replacement. However, when we opened the replacement, it had the same issue--no balance weight. Thankfully, customer service was very helpful in issuing a full refund.
Good Concept with a Huge Problem
This disappointing product has a huge issue. The scale doesn't actually come with the metal weight that slides and allows it to balance (as seen in product pic and mentioned in product description), so it is non-functional. I was sent 2 replacements with the same issue. All 3 have a hole and bolt to hold the sliding weight, but no weight. Without that part, several adults couldn't even get this to balance empty buckets. We are going to try to find something at the hardware store to see if we can salvage it, because it would be so fun and educational if it actually worked. Just know if you buy this item that you are either buying a DIY project or a piece of decor, not a functioning balance.

My husband added a pea gravel area to our home based childcare. It is a 8x12 area that allowed for this scale to be placed in to this area as well. The children love filling up the buckets with the pea gravel and seeing which side is heavier.
