This product was exactly what I wanted, except that within 5 mintues of me giving it to my reasonably-gentle 2 year old son, he used a drumstick from another instrument I purchased to hit the cowhide head, and it ripped beyond repair. I was disappointed at that, but I kept the tambourine anyway because it can still be used without that part.

Normally purchase our musical instruments as a large set, but it was out of stock and we needed a set quickly, so each item was purchased separately. We use the instruments in our preschool classrooms on Sunday, at Parents Day Out, and in our choir time. Instruments are of a high quality and withstand lots of use. Our original set was purchased several years ago and is still very usable. Just needed another one due to our growth.
