These are awesome!
These were a great addition to our music class at preschool. They provide a unique and different sound from our "smooth" rhythm sticks. All the kids love them and our age ranges from 2 to 5.

This was a good deal for the quality. It is about medium sized as far as guiro tone blocks go. I have one a bit larger that I hope to get another one like, but this is bigger and better sounding than the Melissa and Doug variety we also have. It fits right in the middle as far as size and tone quality.
