Sturdy and attractive
I got this for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who loves to play phone. I hope to use it to improve her phone manners, since she insists on answering the real phone. She's enjoyed it, as have the neighbors, who are older. One small complaint is that the sounds come out of the base unit instead of out ...of the earpiece, which is a little odd. It does occur to me, though, that the design of this toy is in danger of being obsolete. We happen to have one corded phone which we use and which looks very like the toy, but it's ancient, and it's likely that many children these days wouldn't really find the format familiar.

Broke after only a month!
It worked great at first and was a big hit with all the kids, but now it only lights up, but the ringing tones and speaking capacity don't work after only a month.

My child is 3 so we are working on remembering numbers and who to call when we need help. The phone is very well made. I do wish it programed more than one phone number but for now its fine.

I absolutely love this phone. I am going to use it for fire safety week and have children practice dialing 911. The ability to program the phone so they can practice other numbers is a great feature. The only upgrade I would like to see is a more modern looking phone.
Great teaching tool

My granddaughter is just learning about her phone number and how to get "911" help. It's very scary for a 3 year old. This phone makes it no so scary. She can talk and listen to what she may need to do. We haven't recorded a message yet but, it's very sweet to get a little message from a few relatives.
Works as described.
