I use this toy microwave in my therapy playroom. It has the features that children enjoy most -- lights up, the food plate rotates, timer counts down, and the beeps at the end sound like a real microwave. I would have given it 5 stars, but I have two concerns. One is that you must hit the "re-set" button before selecting a food setting again (this is hard for a young child to understand, and if they push it accidentally, they cancel all their selection). This is unfortunate, because I don't want the kids to "fail" at things. Two, the door has a plastic latch that I worry will break by children manually opening the door instead of pushing the large "OPEN" button at the bottom of the panel. Otherwise, it looks real, sounds read, and counts down like real. Kids can't stop playing with it!
