The biggest problem is that is very difficult to "push down" the toast. The toaster tends to tip over when pushing down the toast. The toast only goes down about 1/2" so the kids keep trying to push harder to make it work like a real toaster. I wouldn't recommend it for a daycare or playroom setting. Ours broke after about 6 months of reasonable use.

Toaster holds my daughter's attention for a long time when she is "cooking." Buttons are a litte hard to push and not the most durable toy made, but for the price you can't go wrong! Would buy it again even though it's a little cheaper looking. Good for imaginiative play.
