I ordered 6 packs of these based on the description - "Realistic market-sized cans just for kids!" I assumed based on this, they would indeed by market-sized, but they aren't based on an average 14.5 oz can size. If you don't need them for a specific size, they are really nice and seem durable.

I am a stay at home mom who homeschools. I bought these to go in our "store" and I LOVE THEM!! I love that you get 2 of each item so you can make it more realistic when you stock the shelves of your pretend store! The cans are for common fruits & vegetables that every kid is familiar with, they may not like them but they are familiar with them. I guess IF I had to state one flaw I think it would be that I foresee the cans being dented, I wish they were a little more sturdy. We moved our "store" into an area that is carpeted and I don't worry quite as much about the cans being dented, before when I heard them drop on the tile floor I would actually get up and go inspect the can. So far so good, no dents and I am so pleased with this product! I can't believe no one has come up with something like this before; the size is PERFECT, like stated in the description it is about the size of a can of soup. I love realistic items for kids and this is a perfect fit! We are going to put price tags on the bottom of each can so they can be rung up when purchased in our store! OH BTW they pass the kid test too, they LOVE them just as much as I do!

The cans are approximately the size of a soup can. The "labels" are painted on, not glued paper. As a former kindergarten teacher I also recognize an educational component as the simple word/picture design allows young children to learn to identify the item that is in the can and learn to recognize the word that goes along with it! Only thing that would make them better is if they were made in the USA instead of China!
