I searched for a kids' lab coat to use for Halloween, and this worked very well. It has buttons to look like a real lab coat, but it actually closes with velcro, which is perfect for a squirmy toddler. The size runs a little large. The fabric is thick cotton and held up well in the wash, though the ink faded a bit. It's not a throwaway item. The clipboard is a cute touch, but it scratches easily.
