Screws are too weak to go ...
Screws are too weak to go all the way into the wood. I had to change out a couple. Best to use an electric screwdriver if you have. Wood was finished nicely with no splinters.

the bed is great. we got it for our niece who was 12 at the time but still into her dolls. we didn't want to get one of those plastic beds in the toy stores because they looked so babyish. we found this bed on the internet and it was perfect. it arrived very quickly around Christmas time and was so easy to put together. it also seems very sturdy and our niece loved it.
