I got one of these for my adopted Haitian daughter 5 years ago. She loved it, still does at age 8. I most recently took one to Haiti as a gift for a 2-year old. She was holding and kissing it when I left. The best thing about this doll is that it is all plastic and can be kept clean. The cloth-bodied dolls are not as hygienic. I also like the soft skin and posable limbs - the size is perfect for small children to hold. No batteries necessary for years of love!
