I learned how to juggle scarves when I was elementary school but I remember our scarves being made of a softer and more air-resistant material. I know how to juggle three items but these make it difficult for even me to do it. Also, the colors are pretty ugly: 4 each of neon orange, yellow and pink....

I use these in my library baby program for playing peek-a-boo. I need to wash them after every class as the babies put them in their mouths. My supply "went missing" so I needed to replace them. I wanted something like these for quite some time so I finally bit the bullet and spent the money. Don't know why these and similar items are so expensive, it's a tiny piece of fabric. But not being very crafty I was not about to make my own. They are fun to throw in the air so small hands can catch them where balls drop too fast for the less-coordinated.
