Dancing Scarves a Hit
Unlike other scarves, the neon colors of these transparent scarves are a hit with our preschool storytime kids. The edges are nicely rolled and finished. The scarves are meant for juggling, so the material is slightly stiff rather than soft and limp and that's good for little hands. The size is perf...ect, too. We've purchased these scarves for other storytimes, so we know they're durable. For the occasional little boy that objects to pink as a "girl" color, we hand him a yellow or orange scarf.

Tricky
I learned how to juggle scarves when I was elementary school but I remember our scarves being made of a softer and more air-resistant material. I know how to juggle three items but these make it difficult for even me to do it. Also, the colors are pretty ugly: 4 each of neon orange, yellow and pink.... Would make it more appealing to kids if the colors were better. The kids in my day care seem to have fun juggling just two and the scarves do well for that. $10 for a set of 12 is a bit pricey for my liking since if you want to teach them to do 3, you can only have 4 kids at a time-- and this is definitely not worth buying two sets. Good starter kit but it's a bit tricky... depends on if you want to teach more than 2

These scarves are perfect for develping lots of muscle groups. Students enjoy throwing them by themselves and with partners.

I use these in my library baby program for playing peek-a-boo. I need to wash them after every class as the babies put them in their mouths. My supply "went missing" so I needed to replace them. I had the old set for probably 10 years. They stood up to the weekly machine washings quite well. That's why I replaced them through Discount School Supply. Great product, great price, great service.
Highly recommend.

I wanted something like these for quite some time so I finally bit the bullet and spent the money. Don't know why these and similar items are so expensive, it's a tiny piece of fabric. But not being very crafty I was not about to make my own. They are fun to throw in the air so small hands can catch them where balls drop too fast for the less-coordinated.
