These desktop helpers are the best! It touches on all the things we use in first grade and they have it right there in front of them to use all the time. The right and left hand superheroes are deal breakers for me; the kids use those constantly as I give so many directional instructions to get them to learn their sides. It even helps to have their name, as many of them don't always know how to spell their last names and also helpful to find your desk when reconfiguring the room! Additionally, make sure to get the "deluxe plastic", as at the end of the school year they peel right off the desk with nothing to have to scrap off! Have been getting these for probably the past 10 years and plan to continue!
