beautiful and good solution but some issues

Gate looks great, well finished, and fits perfectly with the rest of the KYDZsuite panels; however, there are a couple of things that could be improved. 1. the most important one is the doorknob. It does not work well. Very hard to open and close, so hard that teachers sometimes prefer to go over the gate than to try opening it. I'm not sure if our gate came with a defect but when we use the knob we have to apply so much force we feel it could break at any time. We installed it 3 weeks ago, and we have had this problem since day one (getting more and more difficult to open every day). As a temporary fix we have taped the latch bolt so that the gate does not lock completely. Very disappointed with that :-( 2. The aluminum threshold should have non-slip rubber or something similar to help keep it in place. I'm sure this is not a problem when installing the gate over carpet, but we have tile floors.
