Large Beautiful mirror!
This mirror is large and roomy and easy for children to see their entire face easily. I used it for a 2 year old group and set it out on a table with a box of silly disguises the children could explore. Wigs, hats, funny noses and beards and silly glasses. It was a hit and the mirror was heavy en...ough to stay put on the table. We could use it from both sides!

Best suited for very young infants
I purchased this for a 1st birthday gift. The mirror is colorful and engaging - and was a hit. That said, it falls over far too easily. I now see it would be better suited for an infant who isn't yet sitting up or just starting to sit up. Once the babe reaches out to touch his/her reflection, or pl...ay with the crunchy attachments, it is easily knocked over. It isn't heavy and doesn't cause harm, just a giant disappointment to the one trying to watch himself.

All my play groups now have one of these durable and affordable mirrors. So much learning takes place between parent and child as they explore their own faces. Many smiles. Older children enjoy this safe mirror to check themselves out as well. Social emotional development is learned through recognizing emotional expression and having an adult help you label the emotion you are showing. Fun learning through play!
Awesome product for interacting with babies.
