Use this every year!
I have my students do one of these every year. Then I take their picture and glue it inside. On back to school night, I put them on the students' desks and the parents try to find their child's. Then the parents have a keepsake with their child's first day of school picture!

Great Open House Activity for Students
I use these posters every year with my 3rd grade students. They love decorating them and adding their personal information. I hang them up on our classroom clothesline for Parent Night and the parent's have to locate their child's poster. It is fun to see the parents read and see how well they know their child.
- Pros
- Easy To Use
- Unique
Guess Who's Who
I use the Guess Who Posters as a draft for each student's autobiography. They color and decorate the poster, I take a picture of them. Then they write an autobiography and the published autobiography is placed inside so when the flap is lifted anyone will see the autobiography. A great back to school "get to know you" activity for everyone. Plus, each section teaches the students how to sort writing into paragraphs. Very fun writing activity!
Enjoyable for all
Students enjoy this product because it is about them and they enjoy the mystery when they are displayed.

Great Project for Second Grade
I had my students do this project for Back-To-School night. Then I had them hanging on the walls around the room for parents to try to guess their own child. I took pictures of each student to put inside. The students did a nice job as they knew their parents and others would be looking at them. I bought them again for this year as it was such a successful project in 2010.

Great for Back-To-School Night
This is the first year I used this item. I wanted something that wouldn't take a lot of time for the kids to do and would provide a way for kids to get classmates better and for parents to see how well they could guess the answers for their child. I hung them in the hallway for all passerby-ers to be detectives and see if they could "Guess Who?" was in our class. It was easy for "first days of third graders" to complete independently once it was explained. I recommend this product.
