I use this to cover my tables and have about 10 art projects, often including paint, over the surface before I recover. This heavy 50lb can really take a beating. Often we recycle the table paper into art scraps for collage. The weight of the paper especially when covered with paint is a nice weight. Definitely more durable than the 40lb or newsprint. You could also use this for posters and signs. It can take tempera paint!
