This paper is a good weight for drawing and mixed media projects. I've tested fountain pen ink which does NOT bleed through the paper, making it a good paper for making simple journals to write in. It can stand some watercolor painting, such as light washes to highlight sketch elements work well. My COPIC markers DID bleed through, but they are alcohol markers and bleed through nearly every type of paper I test them on. Glad I tried out this paper! I'll be buying this paper again for craft and book projects.

This is the best art paper for kids! It's takes multiple mediums well, holds up to pencil, marker, tempera paint, acrylic paint, watercolor, oil pastel, chalk pastel, good for cutting and gluing. The 80 lb weight is perfect for paint and even watercolor. I usually use a lighter weight paper for pencil and marker drawings and save this for painting, just to save money, but if you are looking for something all purpose...this is it!
