I love the vibrant colors, though I have not used these as of yet with the children. The only thing I notice from other paint cakes over the years is that these seem a bit chalky, but I believe this will change once water is mixed in with the paint. I am very happy with this product.

I am just now experimenting with these beautiful colors. I painted a picture on copy paper and the colors were rich and the more I added the more changes I saw. I also did some free art on watercolor paper and the results were better than I could have imagined. I plan on letting my preschoolers free paint with the Tempera Paint Cakes then die cut hearts for homemade Valentine cards to send home.

Good for quick, minimal mess sub lessons. A bit chalky. Wet and stir the paint well for more saturated color. Dries very quickly. Worked best for painting our cardboard projects.
