Great buy if you can bolster the shelves
I'm a work-at-home artist and use the Mobile Drying Classroom Rack to store works of art in progress. Regular and over-sized boards, canvases, papers, etc. It's the only such product I've found with generous spacing BETWEEN shelves. I love that it's lightweight and super easy to assemble, that the s...helves can slide in and out easily, and that shelves can be removed or added as I see fit. I am disappointed that the shelves are flimsy, but I stabilized each by tying every shelf corner to the frame with yarn and now it's a very sturdy unit.

I did a lot of research about drying racks before I finally bought this one. It was the cheapest I could find because I knew I wasn't going to use it very often and didn't want to spend the money for a good rack. I was not surprised when it was assembled, that the racks themselves were very flimsy. ...The frame was sturdy enough but the racks might not hold heavy objects (I dye fabric and the fabric will be wet). They might work fine for paper and paint. It was very easy to put together but the wheels did not snap into the frame (at least I couldn't figure out how to get them into the frame and there were no detailed directions.) I have yet to use the rack so have no direct experience yet but if you are thinking of an elementary classroom situation, I suggest you pay for a sturdier rack.

Can't have a preschool without this product! Keeps artwork flat and helps dry faster (keeping art work out of the way)
Should be a bit stronger, shelves fall

I like the size of this drying rack because I can put easel paper (18" x 24") on it. What I don't like is that the metal frame is not very strong and as a result it bends easier than it should. When I assembled it, the two metal sides were slightly bent causing the shelves to fall down in the center.
its just ok

OK if you only use half the shelves to allow enough room for children to slide their papers into the rack. I doubled the strength of racks by using 2 racks for each shelf- otherwise wire racks/shelves were rather flimsy. Very lightweight.
Works great!

This is a great drying rack for our three classes to share. Plenty of space for a day to dry before sending home and sturdy enough.

this things falls apart immediately. the racks don't slide in and out well - instead they fall to the next level down. so flimsy and rolls horribly. waste of money. spend a few more dollars and buy the one from lakeshore.

I'm using the rack to hold paintings while the paint cures. It was very easy to assemble and the support structure is stable. The racks are flimsy. I had read about that in a review but couldn't find anything better at this price point. I will find a way to better support them (someone said they used yarn and that looks like it might work).

For drying art work. The shelves did not fit accurately but still does the job.
