Nice large size. As a child we did art on top of newspaper, but we don't get the newspaper now and many people are actually allergic to newspapers. This is a great re-usable option instead of doing newspapers. The star boarder helps kids center their paper in the middle and with a protective margin. This is going to keep surfaces clean and exactly what we needed. Lost one star because they arrived a bit warped.
