Decent brushes, strong mildew smell after cleaning and night

Good brushes, the right size for my 4-year-old. Held a decent amount of paint. Only reason it's not five stars is I washed the brushes out that evening, and in the morning they had written a little water and were very stinky. Surprisingly so. I guess the takeaway is to thoroughly make sure they are dry before you leave them alone.
