I love this drying rack! It is great for small spaces. We had them in my previous school (in every classroom!), where they lasted for YEARS. Now that I am in a different school, I knew I needed to get one. It is the perfect size for preschoolers to take care of their own projects. It can also be attached to the wall if needed. The racks can be removed for taller projects (recycled materials art and papier mache come to mind immediately). I would absolutely buy it again!

I bought one of these a few years ago for my art classes. Back then, I was carrying supplies in and out of my car to the classroom and storing everything at home. This rack allowed us to use wet media and gave me a safe place to dry projects. I even made a cover for the rack so the wind wouldn't blow the papers on the way to and from the house, car and classroom. I just purchased a second drying rack as there are now two art teachers and a dedicated classroom! It has lots of storage space for as many as 72 projects! You can slide the rack out completely to support the art as you slide it back in, or just slide the art onto the rack. Sometimes the stops at the back need to be pressed back in to place and the corners of the paper hang up on the wire, but this is an affordable, practical solution to drying wet projects. It will accommodate most of our paintings and collages, except really thick or heavy ones. I did not use the hanging option as I can't attach permanently to the walls. We are working on a way to connect the two racks vertically to save floor space. I hope our program grows even more so I can buy a third rack!
