Multi-use paintbrush
I've found that this brush works great with our toddlers and any of our preschool population who are still working on fine motor skills. We also have used these brushes with a physically challenged child who had limited upper body muscular control. The larger handle allowed her to gain a firmer gras...p of the brush so she could engage in art ativities with her peers.

Not as good as the chubby ones
I bought these brushes because I thought that students would be able to manipulate them better than the other chunky brushes. I also ordered the chunky brushes for variety's sake. A side-by-side comparison revealed that the quality of the bristles on these brushes is not as good as those on the chun...ky brushes- these seem "cheaper" for some reason.

We used similar brushes to these at the Denver Children's Museum and my 20 month old son liked them so we thought we'd give them a try. They are easy for him to pick up and grip (usually one in each hand). Easy to clean and the color coding makes it easy to see which brush belongs where. I'd definitely get these again.
