Preschool teachers told us that these are the best paints because they come in a good variety of colors, last well, are reasonably priced, and because they are the ONLY brand that truly washes out of children's clothing.

I'm no artist but in my child's world of art, these paints work well. Not too drippy. Basic paint. They have a scent so that could be a downside depending on the child's sensitivities.

I love Crayola because when they say "red" it truly is red. The same goes for their other colors. Crayola is also the best brand if you want the paint to wash out of clothes. When they say washable, they really mean it.
