I used these paints for my kids 5th Birthday Party. The children were able to easily use it without making a mess. The easy to use tip allowed the paint to come out of the bottle easily and without problems. I would definitely recommend these fabric paints.

I purchased this fabric paint for my son's Pre-K class to use for a T-shirt project. The paint was very difficult for the kids to squeeze out of the bottles, and when they squeezed hard enough for the paint to come out, the plastic tips popped off the bottles, dumping paint all over the shirts and the work surface. I was very disappointed as were the kids whose shirts were ruined.

I have a 3 yr old, twin 5 yr olds and an 8 yr old. I had read that the tops can pop off and dump paint so I was trying to be super careful and squeeze them a little and to get them started. They were working fine, then my 3 yr old grabbed the green and just squeezed full force and the top popped off onto his shirt. It pretty muched matched the rest of his shirt so it wasn't a big deal, but I would suggest that parents/teachers get the paints going before little ones get ahold of them and there shouldn't be an issue. The colors are great, their shirts turned out wonderfully (they even created one for their baby cousin!) They have all been wahed a few times already and all of the paint is still on there. I would definitely recommend these. We all had fun with them. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the top really should be made a little better so there is no chance of popping off.

I used this with my 20 month old. she finger-painted a canvas from which I sewed a lunch bag. It worked out well. The paints needed to be thinned a little (less than 1 part water to 4 parts paint) so that they would soak into the fabric rather than collect on top. Without thinning, thicker areas of paint became rubbery. this effect may be desirable for some applications. We used the paint up fast, but then we were going for coverage of the canvas, not for accents. The paint (as diluted) washed out of the fabric a little. The un-thinned paint, when clumped, will peel off like rubber if you pick at it. I'd use it again, since it's the only fabric paint I really trust to be non-toxic enough for a fingerpainting toddler, but it has its limitations.

Bought to use for a 5th grade Valentine's craft project (Positive Affirmation t-shirts). Several kids, while trying to get the paint out, had the top pop off thus spilling huge globs of paint onto the shirts. They were disappointed that so much was ruined as was I. I wouldn't buy this product in the future especially not when working with younger kids.
