The texture was similar to rice crispies treats. It was difficult to clean up because it stuck to everything and still was in small bits. The children were very curious about it, but it did not hold their attention for more than a few minutes - even with teacher guidance.

Kids love the play foam. I previously purchased a different set of several colors (not in the tubs) which were great. This new set in the tubs has a different consistency, and leaves a sticky residue on surfaces that is annoying to scrub off.
